Refund Policy
Last updated · CoreCited
How refunds work at CoreCited, and the fastest way to get one.
The short version
14 days, no questions asked. If CoreCited is not what you expected, email corecited@gmail.com within 14 days of the charge and we refund it in full. You do not need to explain yourself, though if something was wrong we would genuinely like to know what.
Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com Market Ltd, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. This means Paddle's Buyer Terms apply alongside this policy.
If Paddle's terms entitle you to a refund we would have declined, Paddle's terms win. You can raise a refund request with Paddle directly at paddle.net instead of coming to us, and you will not get a worse answer for doing so.
Digital products — the general rule
CoreCited is software delivered online. Access starts immediately after payment, so there is nothing to return. That is why the 14-day window exists: it is the substitute for being able to send something back.
When you can request a refund
Within 14 days of the charge, for any reason. In particular:
- It did not work as described. A feature you paid for is broken, checks did not run, or the data was wrong.
- You were charged but got nothing. Payment went through and access did not.
- Duplicate or accidental charge. You were billed twice, or bought the wrong plan.
- You changed your mind. Inside the window that is reason enough — we do not ask you to justify it.
Subscriptions and renewals
- Cancel any time from your account settings, or by emailing us.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for.
- Nothing is deleted when you cancel — your history is still there if you come back.
- We do not pro-rate part-months by default. If your situation is unusual, ask — we would rather sort it out than have you dispute the charge.
- Meant to cancel and forgot? Email us. That falls outside the automatic window, but we usually refund an unused renewal anyway.
How to request a refund
- Email corecited@gmail.com from the address on the account, or use our contact page.
- Tell us which charge — the date and amount is enough. An order number helps but is not required.
- We reply within two business days.
You can equally go straight to Paddle at paddle.net, which is often faster because they hold the payment.
Processing time
Once a refund is approved, Paddle returns the money to the original payment method. It typically appears on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. We do not control that part and neither does Paddle.
What is not covered
- Requests made more than 14 days after the charge.
- A renewal you meant to cancel but did not — tell us and we will usually still refund it, but it is outside the automatic window.
- Accounts closed for fraud, abuse, or breach of the Terms.
One more, stated plainly because it is the one that could otherwise surprise someone: we measure what AI assistants say, we do not control them. A refund request on the grounds that AI engines did not start mentioning your brand is asking us to guarantee an outcome that we say clearly — on the pricing page and in the terms — nobody can guarantee. If the product did not work, that is a completely different conversation and one we want to have.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under the consumer law of the country you live in. If that law gives you a longer cancellation period or a stronger remedy than this page does, that law applies and this page does not override it.
Try it before you pay
The most useful refund policy is one nobody needs. The free plan gives you 20 checks with no card and no expiry — enough for a complete first verdict on whether AI assistants name your brand, including one full Core vs Carousel classification. Nothing converts automatically and nothing starts charging you. See exactly what this does before any money changes hands.
